Broke the fuck down.
been a while since i posted a dream, but this one particularly bothered me....
somehow...i wsa driving a friend's NSX. if you don't know what an acura NSX is, it's a fuckin' MACHINE. one'a the fastest production cars out there. either way...i take this offramp (it's ALMOST the kilauea offramp...but not quite...such is most of the scenery in my dreams) and there's a fuckin' DODGE VIPER parked on the side of the road with the bumper kind of torn off and sticking into the road. trying to avoid it...the NSX dies and the steering locks up (power steering, happened to me once) and my bumper gets stuck in the viper's bumper somehow...so i reverse trying to get unstuck and only manage to drag the viper into the street. so here i am now, responsible for a $80k viper and an, oh i dunno, $65k NSX both stuck in the middle of the street (the NSX died again).
So this little black kid comes running into the street and...somehow pulls the viper off my bumper and out of the road. not sure how that worked. i jump out, pop the bitch in neutral and push it over to the side of the road.
and THEN i have to go and get the VW vanagon out of the street....which i'm also responsible for...though i don't know why. i end up pushing her actually ONTO a sidwalk somehow. and finally i can stop and think about how the fuck i'm going to deal with a dead NSX up the street, a dead vanagon on the sidewalk, and somebody's VIPER dead somewhere else (i'd lost track of the little kid AND the viper...interesting).
then i woke up and all i could think about was how much i loved raimi :)
might've been spawned by the fact that i magically fixed someone's car in the parking garage yesterday. kitty's car wasn't starting as we were leaving to go in the field...so i started poking around...and asked her to start it 'cause i wanted to see what noise (if any) it made 'cause she said it made none. but yeah...it started. i think it might've been 'cause i yanked on the gas pedal cable and might've put some gas in the engine that wasn't there before...the cable was really loose. not sure how newer cars do 'startup' but mine uses whatever the idle is set at and that has to be enough gas. i have a choke that you can use to make it easier...but it's unnecessary since i use a pretty rich mixture anyway. but yeah. magic hands. sweet.
